Going with the Flow

This kitchen is a great example of what can be done within the existing footprint of the previous kitchen while creating something brand new. This client loves to cook and entertain, so we focused on making sure the flow of the space would be productive, both for every day and for special occasions. The reorganizing was driven by the appliances that are the true workhorses in the kitchen and are the most critical component of the layout. Our client is a foodie, with a well-stocked collection of kitchen tools. He wanted them easily accessible but not cluttering up the counter space. The solution was to build an “appliance garage” but not just any appliance garage. What makes this one unique is that it rolls out into the kitchen for easy access to small appliances. And speaking of garages, that was the next project we did for this client, and the third major project is the deck and patio space, which is a great view from the new kitchen!
