All Decked Out

Back to this client for a second project! After remodeling the kitchen, garage, and primary bath, it was time to move outside. The old deck on this home was in bad disrepair with two unusual tiers that were not a good use of space and didn’t function well, plus an old hot tub no longer in use. The existing deck was also not situated well in terms of seating and circulation, so our goal was to get the new deck just right. We accomplished this by removing one of the tiers and expanding an adjacent section. Along with that, it was important to our client to have planters around the deck to bring seasonal color to the back of this home which is surrounded by trees and nature. The full picture is a beautiful setting with easy access to the kitchen and pool areas.
