A Space for Everything
They say your tastebuds change every seven years, and in remodeling, styles tend to change every 20 years. After our clients lived in their home for 20+ years, it was time for an upgrade. The previous primary suite was not a good layout, both in flow and function, with an awkwardly placed sitting room, wasted space in the bathroom, and closets that were small by today’s standards. The solution? Our design team reorganized the entrance to the primary suite, and turned the under-functioning sitting room into a large closet and dressing room. Working closely with our clients, storage solutions were tailored to their needs and the results are in. Everything has a space and there’s a space for everything, where every item has a home and fits just right.
The new bathroom features a floating vanity with sharp clean lines, and windows that bring in an abundance of natural light, washing the floor in a spectrum of sunshine, even on a cloudy day! We replaced the old oversized whirlpool tub with an elegant freestanding tub surrounded by uninterrupted views to the outside. A water closet and linen closet were added, along with a heated floor for the ultimate in comfort, especially in the colder seasons.
