Sleek Spaces
As with most 1980s homes, the bathrooms weren’t designed in a spacious way. Our clients had a very good feel for what they wanted and had been planning this bathroom renovation for some time. It was our job to rework the spaces to give them the vision they were looking for, essentially opening up the areas to provide more room and have a more modern feel. With both bathrooms, the plumbing only needed to change slightly, which is optimal and cost-effective, as we were able to expand the spaces without expanding the budget. How do you make a small bathroom even smaller? Put a door in. This may have worked for the first 40 years of this home’s life, but it was time for a change, to open up the space as much as possible. The solution? Remove the cramped linen closet and take away the door that separated the tub and toilet area. The results are much more streamlined spaces in these updated and renovated contemporary bathrooms.
